The current economic and political climate in the United States is more challenging than most who read this can recall over the past several decades. These unique and one of a kind seminars have been carefully crafted by Brad Huisken, John Thedford, and David Johns. This distinguished and experienced group has worked together over time and three of them have managed one of the most successful retail and financial services organizations in the United States according to the Gallup Organization.

Brad Huisken who heads up IAS Training out of Colorado has been in sales and management training for over twenty five years and is an internationally known speaker, consultant and trainer to the jewelry, furniture, sporting goods and pawn industries. Brad also has a great history of assisting business owners with turn arounds and financial improvement. He is the author of I'm A Salesman, Not a PH.D, Munchies For Salespeople and Munchies For Salespeople II. His books are often used as reference material for college courses.

John Thedford is the author of the best selling management book, Smart Moves Management and has founded and sold two successful companies associated with the rent-to-own and pawn industries. He currently serves as the President and CEO of Premier Pawn & Jewelry Stores with operations in Atlanta, Georgia and New York State. John is an accomplished CPA and noted speaker on a circuit that includes a number of industries. He is often the key note speaker at national and regional events. Additionally, John holds a number of awards for outstanding performance among his peers and serves as an advisor to the MBA program at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.

Bryan Dodge Bryan Dodge's appearances are fueled by his passion for sharing with others what he has gained in over 20 years as a lifelong, avid student of success habits and leadership principles -- knowledge he used first to transform his own life. Author of The Good Life Rules, Bryan is now one of America's most sought-after speakers, inspiring audiences within thousands of major corporations, professional associations, and other organizations.

David Johns has a long and noteworthy career in the management of human capital with over twenty five years in the pawn industry along with twenty years with Sears out of Illinois. He is best known for his presentations on how to select the best talent for any position and is one of the few instructors in the United States qualified to interpret Thurstone Temperament Schedules. His background as an Industrial Psychologist for the work place has allowed him to assemble a plethora of information and data that he will share during each of the four scheduled seminars.

Philip Nulman began his career at a major NYC ad agency where he evolved to Creative Director. He has won numerous awards in print, broadcast and direct mail. Nulman is the author of four books, two top selling books for entrepreneurial marketing - targeting smaller retail venues. Nulman is a frequent commentator on Fox News and MSNBC. Today, The Nulman Group represents food retailers, automotive, jewelry, financial institutions, professional practices.

Mark Kiszla is an award-winning journalist for The Denver Post and author of No Plan B, the critically-acclaimed book about quarterback Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Through sports, Mark tells stories of leadership, teamwork and perseverance that resonate with anyone in a competitive business. The Society of Professional Journalists has twice named Mark the No. 1 sports columnist in the US.

Roberto Doering holds degrees from Florida International University and Fundacion Instituto Tecnologico de Osasco, Brazil. He has 30 years of experience in technology applied to business management and security and has worked with hundreds of pawnbrokers, jewelers, and retailers throughout the Americas. Roberto provides expert advice to companies of all sizes in using security technology to create a culture of safety and performance improvement.

Jack Brown has over 32 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in the Refining Industry and has become one of the most recognized processors of precious metal-bearing materials. From a humble beginning working as a teenager and through college for his father at Simmons Refining Company, Jack has acquired a reputation for unwavering ethics. After college and a short but successful career in the corporate world, Jack returned to work with his family's company, Mid-States Recycling & Refining, which is the model for the many new companies that have recently entered the industry. Jack has served as one of the few Vendor Members ever appointed as a Director of the National Pawnbrokers Association, and is currently serving on the Security Council of the International Precious Metal Institute.

Marko Evans joined CompuPawn Software as VP of Sales in 2002. He lead's CompuPawn's sales and marketing efforts. Mr. Evans' responsibilities include all new hardware and software sales, advertising, marketing, and the hiring and training of new employees. His sales focus is to propose a "Total Business Solution" that incorporates "State-of-the-Art" hardware and software at affordable prices to pawnshop owners and for the continued growth and expansion of their stores. He regularly attends pawn industry trade shows where he exhibits the full line of CompuPawn software products and gives seminars on various topics.

Registration will be limited at $995 per person, 10% off for 3 or more attendees. Included will be lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday and refreshments throughout each day. The real take-away will be a manual containing the material presented that can be used by attendees to enhance their business opportunities in the future.
